Terms of Use

1. The Service

Omonae provides an AI receptionist and booking system to businesses. Businesses configure their own services, prices, opening hours and booking rules, and are responsible for the accuracy of that configuration and for honouring the bookings they approve.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• ·Attempt to disrupt or overload the Service
• ·Reverse engineer the Service
• ·Upload malicious software
• ·Use the Service for illegal activity
• ·Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or data

3. AI responses

Replies are generated using artificial intelligence and may be incorrect, incomplete or out of date. They are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. Bookings are validated against the business's configured rules on our servers, but a booking request is not a guarantee: the business approves or declines each one.

4. Accounts

Business users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure and for the actions taken under their accounts, including accounts they create for their own staff.

5. Fees

Subscription and setup fees are as agreed with the business at the time of purchase and as described on our pricing page. Details of cancellation, refunds and billing are set out in our statutory disclosures.

6. Availability

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned changes affecting paying customers will be notified in advance where reasonably practicable.

7. User content

You retain ownership of the information you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for operating, maintaining, improving and securing the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The Omonae website, application, branding and software remain our intellectual property. A business's own name, logo and content remain theirs.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services including LINE and AI providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• ·Loss of profits
• ·Business interruption
• ·Loss of data
• ·Indirect or consequential damages
• ·Decisions made in reliance on AI-generated responses

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, except where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the courts of Japan have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

14. Changes

We may revise these Terms. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
